I am a wife, mother of three wonderful girls, and a grandmother of three! I love to spend time with my family, spoil my grand-babies, shop like crazy, read good books, and drink coffee.
God is so good ,and I feel so blessed to work where I can share my faith out loud.

Georgia Arnautou – First Grade
Debra Wilson – Second Grade
I was born at what is now regional hospital here in Yakima. I left 2 weeks after graduating from East Valley High School and worked 7 1/2 years for Pay n Save corporation. My passion was for working with children so I earned my AA and then moved back here to complete my BA in education @ Central Washington University. I took my 1st job in Union Gap, but quit after 3 years to get my MA in Ed from Central. I then moved to Mount Vernon where I worked 7 years in a resource room, 15 years teaching kindergarten and my last 2 years as a reading intervention specialist. I love learning and have been blessed to learn from my students as well as teaching them things too. I am a tree hugger so I am sorry, but I will try to corrupt your children into becoming environmentalist. 🙂

Jenessa Markland – Drama, Middle School History, Yearbook
Jenessa Markland is a native of Yakima, WA. Her first exposure to acting was due to a stint performing in a circus starting in elementary school and continuing through middle school. This remains her fondest memory of being involved in the performing arts. Jenessa performed in many plays and musicals throughout middle school and high school.
After high school, she briefly attended the University of New Orleans on a full-ride scholarship to study jazz saxophone. Unfortunately, her freshman year was abruptly ended by Hurricane Katrina. She then found herself studying at a conservatory in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The following year, she attended Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. Eventually, she graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, having focused on Arabic and Islamic Studies. While at university, her acting experiences were limited to straight plays–in Arabic and Hebrew, with the occasional monologue in Ancient Greek.
During college and after, Miss Markland worked as a pit musician for musicals in the Seattle area, playing Reeds 1 and 2 (saxophones, flute, and clarinet) and 2nd Keyboard. After graduation, she taught musical theatre to children aged 5-18. Her further theatre credits include: directing, assistant directing, choreographing, stage managing, running light and sound, costume and set design, and prop making. Jenessa is thrilled to be back in Yakima and working with the young thespians at St. Paul Cathedral School!

She continued on to La Salle High School in one of the first graduating classes in 2002. After leaving La Salle, Jacquie attended YVCC, found jobs to support herself, volunteered to coach a girls AAU team made up of St. Paul students and met George Weaver in 2008. Jacquie has been committed to St. Paul Cathedral since birth. After getting married in the Cathedral, Jacquie found herself coming back to St. Paul School to give back to the community that gave her so much when she was growing up.
